How often should I service my motorhome?
Your motorhome should have an annual habitation check to ensure the safety of you and your family.
What does a full motorhome service include?
A motorhome habitation check includes all the main safety areas of the motorhome – gas systems/electrical systems/security of windows, doors, and roof lights/a full damp check.
How much does a motorhome service cost?
A motorhome habitation checks costs £269.00
Will an MOT replace a motorhome service?
No, an MOT id for the engine and chassis safety it does not check the habitation area of the motorhome.
Is the habitation check for a motorhome and a caravan the same?
No, they are slightly different, and we will ask you details about your motorhome or caravan
when you book your habitation check. We explain the difference here
Do you check for damp / leaks / water ingress in a service?
Yes, we check the water system, heating and boiler for any water leaks, we check for signs of water ingress using damp meters and we check seal of windows/doors/skylights.
What happens if faults are found during a service?
We will advise you of any faults found along with the severity, our engineers can carry out some repairs if it something that requires major work we can point you in the right direction for a repair.
